Given that US truck manufacturers have

Given that US truck manufacturers have stopped making small pickups, and my Ranger is going to become too expensive to bother repairing at some point, I've been lusting after a Nobe 500.

But if Nobe doesn't build one of those, when my current truck finally dies... well... https://carfromjapan.com/cheap-used-truck-for-sale

Everywhere but the US seems to want a small truck, so yeah. This Ranger I've got is degrading, it's got some oil leaking seals, the oil pressure sensor is flaky, all the usual things that happen when a cheap vehicle hits two and a half decades and 200k miles. But it serves its purpose as our second car and utility vehicle, so I'll keep it going 'til it hits a repair bill that exceeds its value

I think there is a large market for cheap EV small truck. The farthest I would take a pick up is 90 mile round trip (take lambs to market). Most of the time my trips are less than 10 miles (feed store, hardware store, or bar). I need a hitch to tow a feed wagon with a top speed 15 mph or a utility trailer with livestock box at 55 mph. Right now I'm using an old CRv.
