Given that US truck manufacturers have stopped making small pickups, and my Ranger is going to become too expensive to bother repairing at some point, I've been lusting after a Nobe 500.
But if Nobe doesn't build one of those, when my current truck finally dies... well...

Everywhere but the US seems to want a small truck, so yeah. This Ranger I've got is degrading, it's got some oil leaking seals, the oil pressure sensor is flaky, all the usual things that happen when a cheap vehicle hits two and a half decades and 200k miles. But it serves its purpose as our second car and utility vehicle, so I'll keep it going 'til it hits a repair bill that exceeds its value

I think there is a large market for cheap EV small truck. The farthest I would
take a pick up is 90 mile round trip (take lambs to market). Most of the time my
trips are less than 10 miles (feed store, hardware store, or bar). I need a
hitch to tow a feed wagon with a top speed 15 mph or a utility trailer with
livestock box at 55 mph. Right now I'm using an old CRv.
