Wondering if there's an "advanced iMovie" resource somewhere. I want like an "attach audio" notion, a way to re-tie the audio to a particular spot in a video clip. I'm trying to patch in some room tone and re-takes, and keep sliding the audio all over relative to the video.

I'm baffled how seemingly tablestakes stuff with clips are rediculously hard. ScreenFlow's editor is REALLY nice, except if you split a track, you can't join them - just abut them. Which means if you edit something, and then want to to time stretch, each chunk gets a different scale factor. it had been a decades-long complaint in the forums when I stopped using it.
