You mean that these deep-fried things actually came from a living animal with a head? Americans are so squeemish about what they eat that the only way they can stomach it is if it has no resemblance to it's original form. Chicken needs to be deboned, battered and fried. Cows are turned into hamburger. You never eat 'pig', instead you have pork, bacon and lard. Many people don't even realize that bacon and pork are the same animal!
