Yeah, I just saw a post referring to Tsherin Sherpa as "Sherpa", and I don't know if that's a horrible Western affectation, or appropriate.

Only in the last 20 years have I understood that I know very little about all 4.
Names are intereesting, in that in some places/cultures, to change case of the surname is insulting. ie: If my culture says my name is Mike HARRISON, Mike Harrison is diminishing it's power and authority.
