Migrating platforms and apps is always fraught, but my main interface to computers for the
past half decade(!) has been MacOS, and I'm gradually migrating off and back to Linux,
especially as LiquidGlass makes MacOS unusable, and this is a great summary of the paper

I've been using Apple products for 36 years. The latest mess has me working on a tunnel out of the walled
garden, with no plans to ever buy another Apple product once I've made my escape.
And yeah, the best answer I've seen to the question was, "pancreatic cancer."
