To install the Conda package manager

To install the Conda package manager for Python on the Mac, please either install the super annoying desktop application, or run:

conda install anaconda::conda

in the terminal. What sort of bullshit recursive thing is this? The actual answer appears to be:

brew install --cask anaconda

Reader, the answer was not, in fact, that. At least not directly. Feels like another situation like Qt where the goal is to make the command line use as annoying as possible to rope people into the additional telemetry of the GUI tool.

(You should probably use "Text" mode: URLs will be mostly recognized and linked, _underscore quoted_ text is looked up in a glossary, _underscore quoted_ (http://xyz.pdq) becomes a link, without the link in the parenthesis it becomes a <cite> tag.
