OpenAI CEO says it's 'quite terrible' for your PC to have RAM — Sam Altman says data centers offer better utilization.

It's quite simple, the long-term implications are that we rent our compute from the people who bought up all the chips that they'll never have the data center capacity to actually deploy, so that they get all our money, because their vision for the future is so much better than ours.
