Via /., study says computer gaming may be good for your kids.
"They seemed able to focus on what they were doing much better
than other people and also had better general co-ordination.
Overall there was a huge similarity with top-level athletes.
The skills they learnt on computers seem to transfer to the
real world," Rutter said.

I do not think this can be measured... it's a chicken and egg problem:
maybe focused coordinated people are attracted to video games. Not video games
create focused coordinated people. Dagnabit statistics.

Dang, that was silly of me. I commented here on the wrong subject. The only comment I have on this subject is that it doesn't really surprise me. As long as video gaming isn't taken to excess I think it can be very beneficial to kids.
