d00d, get with it! This is the new economy! Everything will be supported with banner ads! I mean, you could be making billions with... oh, I don't know, how about with a web page to pay parking tickets on-line!

I'm actually just cool with the realities of the 'net. Readers are far more likely to not be able to get to Flutterby because AT&T or similar have screwed up. I mean, as much as I love cable modem, if my car had the same reliability as my cablemodem I'd be firebombing corporate headquarters.

You are WAY too low key about Flutterby.com. Obviously you are not worried about your missing banner ad revenue. Oh.. WHAT banner ad's?

BTW: I have recently been publically called clueless because our websites (like: www.chattanooga.net) do not have banner ads.

Things were pretty hassle free from my end. Changed the IPs on the box before the hike, by the time I got back DNS was switched. Looks like it took a little while for the rest of the 'net to catch up mail-wise, but it looks like we're flowing again.

Like all good intentions, Sunday turned into a mess. Mix infected Microsoft systems and family plans and the day turns into a zoo.

I did finally figure out what Microsoft is soft on: Security. And the new 2000 servers are proving to be just as bad. It's basicly too complex of a system for anyone to keep patched and secure.
