A boy and his Ocoee

Today, I'm shooting a coupla pics at Double Trouble on the Ocoee and down the river comes a guy standing in his boat as he runs the river. Uh, Dan.... tell me this isn't normal.

While getting used to the fact that good gear can leave you sweating in water cold enough that there's ice forming on the top of the eddies is hard to do, might I just point out the ridiculousness of the phrase "...running the Ocoee... in the light drizzle..."?

I didn't see him surf, but I did see him again today (near the Doldrums or somewhere like that) as I cruised the river after climbing the fire tower on Oswald Dome. BTW, I was cold at 3300ft on the tower, but the folks running the Ocoee... in the light drizzle... that's nuts.

Maybe his seat was wet and he didn't want to sit in that just yet?

That looks like a cool trick. Did you see if he was managing it in more technical stretches, or surfing like that?
