Chiropractic link to stroke?

Study links chiropractic "spinal manipulative therapy" to increased stroke risk. Done with a small sample, but while I've long been a believer in chiropractic treatments for some things, I haven't yet found a practitioner out here in Marin that I'd trust to adjust me.

Well, my mother was one of the most devoted chiropractic clients I've ever met, and she had the first of her many debilitating strokes at age 66, 13 years ago. She hasn't spoken or walked since. My anecdotal bet is on there being a connection.
