California state Democrats caught talking candidly about the budget crisis when someone left a microphone on.
"It seems to me if there's going to be a crisis, the crisis should be
this year," Assemblywoman Jackie Goldberg, D-Los Angeles, said during
the meeting. "What you do is you show people that you can't get to
this without a 55 percent vote."
The unintentional broadcast was interrupted when someone informed the
group that a microphone was on. "Oh s--," Goldberg said as the sound
was cut.
Hee hee hee.

Oh yeah, I've no doubt. I just think it's fun when politicians get caught being candid and telling the truth...

The difference in this case between the Democrats and Republicans is that the Democrats were caught. Both sides are trying to play this to their advantage.

if you're lucky, if you're not a whole bunch of people smarter and
more articulate than you will ridicule you, and we will leave
such ridicule in place.
