And today, is a day to give thanks to $DIETY or just because sometimes being humble and thinking about what you are thankful for is a good thing.
Today I am very thankful. I'd especially like to take a moment to thank my friends for being friends: People whom you like, love and respect and return that friendship and love with no other agenda than enjoying each others company and sharing each others lives. A few Flutterbarians are especially included in that: Dan, TopSpin... and to some degree, those of you I barely know: Todd, Diane, Shawn, Mars...

Thank you, meuon, for imparting your usual words of wisdom. And for the recognition. It's nice to hear once in awhile.
Thank you to all the flutterbarians - for keeping me on that friend list. I know I've been kind of all over the board and in and out a lot recently. The last year has been rough. As Diane says, it's nice to have such a place, with such accepting friends :-)

Thank you for this pointed reminder about what's really important. And I return the appreciation, meuon (and all). I just spent 10 minutes worrying about whether I should reply to your response on the "stick women" thread, and then finally said, "Screw it, these people are my friends, I can say what I'm thinking." And then realized that the only person here I actually "know" is Dan, yet I consider so many of you friends in some way. It's a remarkable thing, and I would also like to thank you all for being yourselves, and for being human, and for being friends.
