Interesting note from WWDC: Popping up a web browser has extremly bad performance. Tunnelling those port 80 requests through SSH to my colo server actually makes browsing usable. Someone's obviously screwing with some QOS handles...

Speaking of network performance, it was so bad through much of the conference that I just tunnelled everything through ssh via my cell-phone and mostly stayed off the conference network. Talking to CK (head of developer releations), they had planned for 32-35 hundred people. 38 hundred was what they got, and led to a lot of the problems as everything there got stretched a little farther than intended.

Nope. But we'll probably end up with an OS X/Intel box soon. What are we going to call that? MIntel? MacIntelOsh?
