Freakin' a: Five and a half years after my plea it looks like people are finally starting to publish calendar information! On a few events mailing lists I'm starting to see calls for iCal
format data, and EVDB, the Events and Venues Database, is publishing in iCal
. About danged time.

I've tried using iCal several times in efforts to not setup Exchange/Outlook for people. One of the issues for me, was a good working client. Mozilla/Calendar is helping in that area, and may be the catalyst for iCal use.
We will not edit your comments. However, we may delete your
comments, or cause them to be hidden behind another link, if we feel
they detract from the conversation. Commercial plugs are fine,
if they are relevant to the conversation, and if you don't
try to pretend to be a consumer. Annoying endorsements will be deleted
if you're lucky, if you're not a whole bunch of people smarter and
more articulate than you will ridicule you, and we will leave
such ridicule in place.
