Just some rambling on some recent bike woes so that I have something to refer back to.

My Schwinn Mesa had the whole chainring set replaced..after flattening it a few times. I've warped both the small and middle ring several times, they put a ?? brand heavy duty set of gears on it at Suck Creek Cycle. Both me, and Joe (a friend) have busted/popped the chain in half riding up hills in Chattanooga on 'mountain' bikes.

Today we did a tough 8 miles (before a 15+ mile group ride) including riding up through White Oak Park, and I can feel my front wheel on a long wheelbase recumbent, get light during the stroke.. cranking hard at 4mph. It's got DuraAce components, and so it'll be interesting to see how they hold up.
