Keeping Quicken running under Codeweavers on Linux as Microsoft does more and more to try to make that impossible has me looking for other alternatives. Moneydance is written in Java and will run on Linux and Mac as well as Windows.

Yeah, gnucash looked a little more accounting oriented when I looked at it, and I wanted something that was more familiar to how Charlene's doing things now. 'though she is actually using QuickBooks. Maybe I'll have to look at it again.

not sure what you're doing with it, but gnucash works for me for household finances
