Among this afternoon's projects: California Code of Regulations, Title 8, Section 3214: Stair Rails and Handrails. Detachable, 'cause the stairwell is really narrow and we'll want it wider when we're moving stuff in and out. But still have to get that "200lbs in any direction" solid...

Didn't get to the stair rail yesterday, although the parts are sitting there, ready to go.
Short a set of hinges, just a touch of sanding, and a finish on my cord organizer, I'm hoping to be ready to put up pictures of that soon.

200lbs in any direction is tough, You remind me it time to check out the railing mountings on the deck from underneath, they are in wood..
and a 30+" lever bolted to wood.. expecting 200+ lbs on the end, is a lot of force.
We set a bunch of concrete block retaining wall this weekend, and I'm sorer then I'd like to be from it, but I like knowing all that block plus 400 pounds of concrete, unlike the untreated landscape timbers that were there, ain't going anywhere soon.
