Good story, he must have worked hard at that.

I've noticed a few barefoot runners, running on the grass along the riverwalk in Chattanooga, personally, walking barefoot on the ground and grass is a joy. I don't run. But on concrete and asphalt, I think shoes are needed. My heel spurs (mostly from skateboarding in no-padding cheap shoes) need the padding.
