What

This is my first attempt at trying to build a Wiki-like knowledge base on top of the Flutterby content management system.

This is a place for explanation, description and static links on a topic that's either too broad to be covered under a single link, or that you're just too lazy to find the real link to.

Entries are automatically generated.

There are two films titled The Manchurian Candidate[Wiki]. The first was directed by John Frankenheimer[Wiki], starred Frank Sinatra[Wiki], and was released in 1962 (IMDB page), the second was directed by Jonathan Demme[Wiki] with Denzel Washington[Wiki](IMDB page).

They're very different films, the first lifted lines directly from Joseph McCarthy[Wiki] of the (in)famous House Unamerican Activities Commission[Wiki], down to a chillingly hilarious reason for the "there are 57 Communists in the State Department" line, the second took a more pedestrian "shadow corporations controll everything" conspiracy theory line.
