Hmmm

Hmmm... 5 gallons of food safe hydraulic fluid would be backordered from the more local vendors. $25 more from Amazon, but similar delivery timeline and I don't have to drive to Santa Rosa to pick it up.

And that's why brick-and-mortar shopping is going the way of the high-button shoe. I was born to shop, love schlepping around the grocery store, but do the vast majority of my shopping on Amazon, anymore. It's always in stock, usually cheaper, and my Prime membership gets it to me "free" (after membership fee, of course). No gasoline, searching in several stores to maybe find what I'm looking for, why deal with the never-ending traffic and road construction? I hate this, but it's plain common sense.

Yeah, Prime is often a bit more expensive, they basically bundle most of the shipping cost into the Prime price, but $25 to have 5 gallons of oil delivered rather than having to hump that in and out of my truck is a bargain.
