A few notes on iPhone apps:
- Still impressed by GPS Log App, hoping 1.3
hits the servers soon! I've been using the beta LITE version for a week now, liking
the new upload features, but getting tired of waiting on Apple.
- PhotoUpLink: Fail. Lots of crashes.
- Multi-Photo Email: Semi-fail. Lots of crashes.
- FTP Picture Upload: So far,
success.
- The Weather Channel® iPhone
app beats the living daylights out of the weather info that comes with the iPhone.
- Google Earth iPhone has
none of the features that'd actually make it useful, but is a damned cool tech demo.
- Ad Hoc Helper: Why doesn't the device ship with this functionality?

Sounds like a mix of usable functionality and junk?

What earth iphone features would be useful? (I know the team that does it and can pass 'em on)
We will not edit your comments. However, we may delete your
comments, or cause them to be hidden behind another link, if we feel
they detract from the conversation. Commercial plugs are fine,
if they are relevant to the conversation, and if you don't
try to pretend to be a consumer. Annoying endorsements will be deleted
if you're lucky, if you're not a whole bunch of people smarter and
more articulate than you will ridicule you, and we will leave
such ridicule in place.
