John Marcotte, author of the 2010 California Protection of Marriage Act, talks to Rob Cockerham of Cockeyed.com. I can't tell if Marcotte is a straight-faced satirist or legit and serious. I don't suppose it matters, because I think the end result is the same...

I've read the site and laughed heartily. I've also become a member of their org on facebook so I'd be able to enjoy the discussions further. Sounds like a novel idea.. separating church and state.

I initially found myself wondering if he was a shill for Vegas and Reno tourism. Can't divorce in CA? Make a little trip across the border...

Yeah, http://rescuemarriage.org/ is riding that same line, enough so that I'd consider signing the petition just to get people riled...

Maybe I'm being too naive, but it reads like satire to me - especially as it gets further into the interview.
