Unhappy Hipsters is snarking at the pictures with people in 'em from modern architecture photography. Since I've been reading a lot of said stuff recently while looking for ideas on the house and on building my workshop, I found this horribly amusing.

My house was aspiring to be that minimalistic, tiled, contemporary, gray.
A woman appeared, bringing color and accessories, purple, honey and gay.
Our house is colorful, cluttered and full of whimsical play.
Cats chasing, Art facing, Alice in Wonderland meets Bauhaus in a day.

Photos to commit suicide to.
I am also reminded of a term from From Bauhaus to Our House, "That room", what Tom Wolfe called the oficial square, white painted room with no decorations and a few pieces of uncomforable furniture. Apparently they are still making it.
