To say nothing about the Herman's Hermits movie, co-starring Louis Armstrong and Liberace (!). But for real rockabilly bizarreness, try Expresso Bongo, A British musical with Cliff Richards. The Brits never did get musicals, it was either missing the point entirely or just getting drunk and shooting some film.
