Just ordered a Wansview NC540W network camera for the shop. No H.264, but motion JPEG, web interface, pan and tilt. We'll see how it works.

For starters, just so that Charlene can see me and check in on me when I'm in the shop. I may also set up an outside interface of some sort to it.

What uses do you plan for it?
We will not edit your comments. However, we may delete your comments, or cause them to be hidden behind another link, if we feel they detract from the conversation.
