Starjewel had a link to what does your evil clown look like? (and, since lots of people are uninstalling it nowadays, I ought to mention that it requires Flash).

I make IE ask me "Can I load this? Can I load this?" over and over. It's sometimes annoying, but ironically, usually less so than the animations and glitz itself.
Not that I think this should reflect badly on Flash. Some of the most entertaining web content I've seen in the last couple of weeks has been Flash movies.

It sounds like Macromedia mauy have done itself an injustice by being so popular with the people that do that kind of thing. Ironic. :)

Weather.com, for example, uses really annoying flash animations that obscure the page for aboout 10-15 seconds. When you are trying to find out when the hurricane is gonna hit, that's annoying.

Most of the folks I see uninstalling it nowadays are using the lack of Flash as a rudimentary ad filter. I never got it working on Mozilla, so I don't have it on my work Windows box, but it runs just groovily under Opera on my laptop.

lots of people are uninstalling it (flash) - Why are they un-installing it? I don't really like it...but it seems harmless enough, am I missing something important?
