I know Dan's been playing around with georeferencing his photos and I'm not surprised that other folks are doing it (especially with the convergence of digital cameras, GPS and WAP enabled cell-phones). GEOsnapper does an amazing job of putting the pieces together in a really fun, and rather snappy, way.

I'm impressed with the potential of this product/service. It essentially does what I wanted several years ago. The user interface is pretty good, but could use a few tweaks. I'm gonna let them know ...

This is a topic that I've spoken to Dan in private about on a number of occasions for at least the last couple of years. It's great to see progress being made!
This is very interesting to me because I am planning a cross-country motorcycle ride in 2006 which will bring me to all four corners of the US. I want to document the trip in near real-time, and provide drill-down by geographic route location to text, still photos, and perhaps even video snippets.

And another intersting topic: Geospatial Blogging. Geoblogging? Any ideas or thoughts about that, with rich datatypes?
