I missed something. Is the fact that the news is manufactured suppose to be new to us? The only person on now that says any truth at all is Glenn Beck, although he is a little folksie at times.

So, the government websites really will take over our computers forever?

You believe any of it? I though you could see the <blink>FNORD</blink>.

I've been in or behind the news often enough to know how bad it is on little things, and can only assume the whole system is as bad as the .000001% I have seen.

It's circus, it's entertainment, it's about selling advertisements. Every once in a while: It's actually "news".

Lou Dobbs is also gradually being "phased out," as he too is one of the few remaining "truth tellers."

I believe the ur-comment on the topic is: "If you think the news is doing a good job, wait until they cover a topic you really know."

And I was at CNN for five years.

I would have said something myself, but I mistook the original comment for satire.

The poets are clearly the truth tellers without commercial concern...

Also anyone catch William Shatner repeating Sara Plains speech as prose - very poetic

Got the Shatner performance in this entry, but if folks missed it it's well worth a view.
